ABOUT THIS EVENT

In celebration of U.S. Media Literacy Week, the National Association for Media Literacy Education (NAMLE) will be hosting an event to engage students, educators, and journalists in honest, constructive discussions and hands on activities exploring civic engagement, media production and the intersections between journalism, media literacy and student voice. Participating partners are:

MediaWise is a digital literacy project that aims to teach 1 million teenagers how to sort fact from fiction online by 2020.

CIRCLE, the Center for Information and Research on Civic Learning & Engagement, focuses on young people in the United States, especially those who are marginalized or disadvantaged in political life.
