Launch of YouthLearn’s Media Literacy Toolbox
Education Development Center
YouthLearn’s Media Literacy Toolbox features some of our most popular tools and curricular resources that support media literacy education in a variety of settings—classroom or afterschool program, integrating low tech or high tech, and for children or teens. A key part of making media with youth is teaching critical media analysis and other components of media literacy. Media literacy provides the foundation for youth media practice.

Seattle, WA 98134
On November 10th, we will offer our third annual Techathon. This opportunity is open to middle and high school students. As a way to engender technical creativity, Techathon participants face a challenge to prototype a solution to a civic issue, one from three prompts written by their peers. Graciously hosted by Living Computers: Museum + Labs, the Techathon is an all-day event designed by students, for students.
